Most NFC setup problems are not caused by the chip itself. They come from weak destination links, poor placement, or failing to test the card in the real environment where customers will use it. Setup should be treated like a conversion workflow, not a one-time technical task.
Choose the right destination. Verify that the link opens the intended action immediately. Test on iPhone and Android. Add a QR fallback. Train staff on the one sentence they should use. Then test again in the actual billing or reception position.
Businesses that skip live testing usually discover problems too late. The card may work technically while still failing commercially because the angle is awkward, the card sits too low, or staff are unsure when to invite the tap. Treat those details as part of setup, not a separate optimization project.
